Quality Improvement Capacity for Impact Project
This five-year cooperative agreement funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) supports ICAP to provide technical assistance for quality improvement in PEPFAR-supported programs.
Through QICIP, ICAP provides ministries of health and local partners with technical assistance that enables them to monitor program performance, identify quality challenges, explore root causes, develop targeted interventions, and conduct rapid, iterative tests of change.
ICAP is supporting a quality improvement collaborative comprising 16 health facilities that are working together to improve turn-around time for the tests used to diagnose HIV in infants.
ICAP is supporting a quality improvement collaborative that includes 30 health facilities in Western Kenya working together to improve the utilization of routine viral load monitoring to optimize HIV treatment outcomes.
ICAP is supporting a quality improvement collaborative comprising 20 health facilities working together to improve the way newly-diagnosed, HIV-positive infants and children are linked to HIV treatment services.
